About Me

I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign focused on AI and materials research. Currently working as an AI researcher at IBM Illinois Discovery Accelerator Institute, where I engineer Python workflows to integrate LLMs with chemical simulation data for polymer discovery.

Projects

Trading Application - I'm currently working on a trading application using Python, opensource LLMs, yfinance data, Langchain, and an Alpaca API. The algorithms are based on time-series analysis and statistical arbitrage strategies to maximize net gain in weekly intervals. The novel part is trying to imlpement a RAG system to parse and interpret geopolitical events and make trading decisions in a market context. Trading has been a mix of automated and human-decision. Sharpe index around 1.10 as of now.

Seat Checker Automation - I built an automated class availability checker using Python and Selenium to monitor course openings at Moraine Valley registrar.

Fingerprint Garage Door Opener - Created an Arduino-based garage door system with Adafruit fingerprint sensor, an arduino microcontroller, and a garage door opener.
