About Me

I'm a Computer Science student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign focused on AI for materials research. Currently working as an AI researcher at IBM Illinois Discovery Accelerator Institute, where I am engineering Python workflows to integrate LLMs with chemical data for polymer discovery for photonic integrated circuits.

Projects

AI for Photonic Integrated Circuits - Co-authored a research paper during my time at the IBM Illinois Discovery Accelerator Institute. The paper details our work in using LLMs to accelerate the discovery of novel polymers for photonic applications. [Read the Paper Here]

Trading Research - A trading system that weighs the current events of the day and week. An assortment of opensource LLMs to parse and summarize political, social, and economic events and quantify their direction and magnitude on the global market. The weights are used to calculate trades and Alpaca is used to execute trades. [Visit TradeDan]

Seat Checker Automation - I built an automated class availability checker using Python and Selenium to monitor course openings at Moraine Valley registrar. I then distributed the tool to my fellow students to help them secure required classes.

Fingerprint Garage Door Opener - I created an Arduino-based garage door system with Adafruit fingerprint sensor, an arduino microcontroller, and a garage door opener. I coded the software that enrolls and connects the sensor with the garage door opener in the Arduino IDE.
